About this ride
The question everyone asked after the demo was what their own car would look like doing it. Upload a clear photo of your car, any make, and it drives up the inverted ramp, leaves the top edge, turns over in the dark and comes down on a short burst of thrust. The car keeps its shape, colour and wheels from your photo.
Tips for the your car takes flight
- Use a three-quarter photo in daylight with the whole car in frame; a side view loses the front.
- Clean backgrounds help: a car park beats a busy street full of other cars.
- Plates are hidden in the render, so you do not need to blur them first.
What is already set for you
- The subject: the car from Image 1, driven by an unseen driver behind tinted windows, with four small white cold-gas thrust jets under the body that fire only during the descent..
- The scene: a closed night test track in open flat country.
- The timing: Every ride leaves the top of the ramp at six seconds and lands by nine.
